For me, the old saying “Don’t be ugly or I will” has been a household threat for my entire life, and for those of you that think it’s just an awful thing to say, let me explain it to you. See, being “ugly” refers to not minding your manners, having an attitude, breaking unspoken rules, or really anything that my mamma didn’t like (because when mamma ain’t happy ain’t nobody happy) and her being ugly is WAY scarier than anything I could have been doing to get this statement from her. Furthermore, it’s something that has stuck we me all my life, and so I apply this saying to the way I live my life. You behave and so will I, otherwise, I think the design here speaks for itself.
